Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 353 securely closes a wide variety of box and carton materials, including corrugated boxes with high recycled content. The moisture-resistant polyester backing resists abrasion, chemicals, and scuffing to hold strong throughout the shipping process. This tape is suitable for use on single- and double-walled corrugated boxes weighing up to 100 lbs., including those with high recycled content.
Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 353 features a biaxially oriented polyester backing with a pressure-sensitive rubber resin adhesive. It is 1.9 mils thick with adhesion of 45 oz/in width, tensile strength of 25 lbs/in and elongation at break of 110%. The tape complies with environmental considerations of ASTM D1974-92 and meets CID A-A-1684B.
